University of the Valley of Mexico History

University of the Valley of Mexico is a private university located in Mexico. It is the largest university which provides higher education institution in Mexico. It was established in the year 1960 by Don Jose Ortega Romero.

University of the Valley of Mexico Programs, Courses, and Schools

University of the Valley of Mexico offers both traditional and bicultural high school program for the students. The University offers 8 Bachelor’s and Engineering programs, 9 Executive Bachelor’s programs, 4 Online Executive Bachelor’s programs, 8 Master’s and Postgraduate programs, 7 Online Master’s and Postgraduate programs. It also provides certification courses and online certification courses are also been provided. The University has more than 11,900 academic staff including 1,30,000 undergraduate students and postgraduate student.

University of the Valley of Mexico has 36 campuses located in 18 Mexican states, which is the largest private university campuses in Mexico. The University provides multiple facilities for the students on campus.

University of the Valley of Mexico, Lisa and Llana Academic Quality Certification, was given by the Federation of Mexican Institutions of Higher Education. The University was certified with ISO 9001:2008 for 22 Libraries and it was even certified with ISO 9001:2000, it was granted to the computing labs in at campus. The University even received a medal in sports the students of UVM, 14 athletes participated in London Olympics in the year 2012 and 3 out of 4 medals were received by the students in the London Olympics in 2012.
