University of Tripoli History

Tripoli University (UOT), Libya's largest university, is located in the capital Tripoli. The first college of what became Tripoli University was founded as the University of Libya's Faculty of Sciences in 1957. The Faculty of Agriculture was added in 1966 and the Petroleum and Minerals College in 1972.

University of Tripoli Programs, Courses and Schools

The university provides study levels for undergraduates, graduates and graduates and awards the following degrees: Intermediate Certificate (Diploma). Degree in Bachelor. License the degree of Master. Doctoral (PhD) degree. This 63-year - old institution of higher education has a policy of selective admission based on entrance exams. Second Ward: includes halls of lecture, classes, cafeteria and Third Ward library: includes faculty labs. Fourth Ward: Laboratories included. In addition to the anatomy hall, ray rooms, theatres for surgical operations and cooling rooms for samples.
