California Baptist University's history started in 1950 with the foundation of California Baptist College. The college started with a batch of 120 students in El Monte, California. California Baptist University campus is in California. Most of the campus buildings were built in the 1920s and 30s. A new athletic center was added on campus in 2019 that is spread over an area of 10,800 square feet. Annie Gabriel Library is the main library of the University. It was named after Miss Annie Gabriel who gifted a set of great collections in the initial days of the institution. It holds more than 110,000 printed resources, 150,000 e-book materials, 30,000 journals, and 79 databases. It also has 17,000 audio-visual collections. The complete library corridor is equipped with internet. It has a computer lab to support students technically.
