Bilkent University History
Bilkent University is a private and non-profit university located in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, was founded in the year 1984 by Professor Ihsan Dogramaci. The university is spread over an area of more than 300 hectares. There are 13,000 students with 9 faculties and 2 professional schools. The university is the top Turkish university since its establishment.

Bilkent University takes the issue of safety and security of students very seriously for that purpose they have an emergency number. Also, smoke and heat detectors are installed in common areas. The buildings are equipped with fire extinguishers and efficient emergency exit signals.
