Bilkent University History

Bilkent University is a private and non-profit university located in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, was founded in the year 1984 by Professor Ihsan Dogramaci. The university is spread over an area of more than 300 hectares. There are 13,000 students with 9 faculties and 2 professional schools. The university is the top Turkish university since its establishment.

Bilkent University offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs in various subjects. Bilkent University offers 9 major faculties wherein the students have subjects ranging from Economics, Architecture, Management, Political Science and Public Administration, Teaching English as a Foreign Language, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Translation and Interpretation, Mathematics, Performing Arts, and Archaeology.
