Cadi Ayyad University, is a public university located in Marrakesh, Morocco. It is the one of the largest university in Morocco. It was established in 1978. The University main aim is to research and national and international outreach.

It covers the new Marrakech-Safi region. 2 new institutions will come to enlarge the university, it is about the faculty of the Arabic Language of Marrakech which will be attached to the University Cadi Ayyad. The University has multiple facilities on campus like sports center, research center, it also involve cultural activities.

Nasrrddine YOUBI were awarded "Best researchers award" by the quality and the number of their scientific production listed by the Publisher Clarivate Analytics (Web of Science Group), during the last 5 years (2014-2018) and in recognition of the efforts made in the service of development national scientific research.Cadi Ayyad University was honored by "The Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers STLE, USA" in the person of the tribologist Pr. Fatima BOUYAHIA, who received the award of the best scientific work of the year on mechanical seals.
