De La Salle University History

De La Salle University, is a private university Metro Manila, Philippines. It was established in the year 1911 as the De La Salle College in Nozaleda Street. It is the one of the oldest universities in Philippines.

The second campus is Laguna it is satellite and integral campus located in Binan, Philippines. The third campus is Makati it is located in RCBC, Makati City. The fourth campus is Ortigas it is located in Mandaluyong City.

De La Salle University, students win BPI-DOST science awards in 2018. Dr. Esperanza C. Cabrera is a Full Professor 10 and University Fellow of De La Salle University, Manila. She was awarded by the Philippine Professional Regulation Commission as the 2018 Outstanding Professional in the field of Medical Technology, one of the 2017 Ten Outstanding Filipinos by MetroBank, and was the recipient of the Dr. Alfredo Pio de Roda Excellence (Lifetime Achievement) Award given by the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists in the same year.

De La Salle University, ranked 1001+ by World University Rankings in 2019-2020. It was ranked 301+ by University Impact Ranking in 2019. The University was also ranked 251-300th in Asia University Rankings by (THE) World University Rankings in 2019.
