Khon Kaen University History

KhonKaen University is a public university in Thailand. It was the first university was founded in northeastern Thailand and it is the oldest university and largest university in the region. The University was established in the year 1966.

KhonKaen University offers 105 undergraduate programs, 129 master’s programs and 59 doctorate programs. The University also offers a certification course for the students. The University 18 faculties and 4 colleges. The University has more than 2,075 administrative staff and 34,382 undergraduate students and postgraduate students.

KhonKaen University is a wide and located in KhonKaen, Thailand. The University provides numerous facilities for students like they have a library for students, transportation facilities. Khon Kaen University Achievements

KhonKaen University was awarded for Outstanding International Cooperative Education at the 10th Thailand Cooperative Education in 2019. The University was also awarded for 8th National Anti- Corruption Commission Integrity award remarking its transparent management. In 2012, the University was honored for Golden Research Presentation Award at Thailand Research Expo 2012, by the National Research Council of Thailand.

KhonKaen University was ranked 801 by World University Ranking and 148 by Asia University Ranking in 2019. In 2019, it was ranked 1001+ in Times Higher Education and 251 in Asia Ranking. It also ranked 744 in Leiden Ranking in 2019 and 261 in Asia Ranking in 2019. The University ranked first in Thailand under the Social Impact ranking in 2019 by the Times Higher Education and came 101th to 200th of the world.

The University also provides Scholarship for Bachelor’s students. It always has been emphasis to its motto of Knowledge, Virtues, Wisdom”.
