KOC University History

KOC University was founded in 1993, is a non-profit private university in Istanbul, Turkey. It has become one of the most prestigious universities in Turkey. The University interests many of the highest scoring students from Turkey’s top high schools such as KOC School, Robert College, Uskudar American Academy, and Istanbul High School.

KOC University Campuses

KOC University’s central campus at Rumelifeneri is located in the north of Istanbul, overseeing the Bosphorus and the Black Sea. The campus has 60 buildings, which covers 230,000 square meters. There is a Suna K?raç Library which has five branches and retains some 322,000 print volumes plus nearly 160,000 ebooks and 64,000 online serial titles. The Library also retains about 2,000 rare materials in the areas of Ottoman and European history, literature and religion.

KOC University provides Turkey Scholarship for the Graduate students wherein each program has different deadlines. Also, Every academic year the Scholarship committee that evaluates international undergraduate applications may offer a limited number of tuition scholarships (25%, 50%) to outstanding candidates based on academic merit.
