State University of Sonora History                                         

The State University of Sonora also known as Universidad de Sonora and abbreviated as Unison, is a Mexican higher education institution located in Hermosillo, Sonora. The university is public and was established in 1942. It currently enrols over 30000 students across six campuses.

State University of Sonora Programs, Courses, and Schools

The State University of Sonora offers programs in Natural Sciences, Engineering, Biological Sciences, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Economics and Business, Humanities, and Fine Arts at the undergraduate level which include Bachelor degrees, Diplomas, and Certificate programs.

The State University of Sonora offers PhD and Master Degree programs in Physics, Material Sciences, Food Sciences and Technology, Social Sciences, and Psychology and a Master’s degree in Geology and Engineering. It also offers a PG Certificate program in Immunohematology.

The State University of Sonora comprises of 6 campuses in total with its main campus located in Hermosillo in the state of Sonora, Mexico which houses the major faculties and university administrative offices. The other 5 campuses include Caborca, Navojoa, Nogales, Santa Ana, and Cajeme.
