Teikyo University History

Teikyo University was established in 1931 and is located in Tokyo, Japan.  It was initially founded as Teikyo Commercial High School and was later changed to its current name in 1966. It originally comprised of only 2 faculties, however, over the years the University has grown and advanced to form an esteemed institution providing education in a broad range of academic fields.

Teikyo University Programs, Courses, and Schools

The University comprises of an undergraduate school, graduate school, Distance Education course, and Junior College. The undergraduate school holds the faculties such as School of Medicine, Faculty of Pharma-Science, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Faculty of Language Studies, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Faculty of Medical Technology, Faculty of Fukuoka Medical Technology. The Graduate school comprises of Graduate School of Medicine, Graduate School of Pharma-Science, Graduate School of Economics, Graduate School of Law, Graduate School of Liberal Arts, Graduate School of Languages and Cultures, Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Graduate School of Medical Care and Technology, Graduate School of Health Sciences, Graduate School of Teacher Education and Graduate School of Public Health.

Teikyo University Campuses

The University has 5 campuses in Japan namely Itabashi Headquarters campus located in Itabashi, Tokyo, Hachioji campus, including a junior college and graduate school, Sagamiko campus, Utsunomiya campus, and Fukuoka campus. The University also has 2 international campuses in Durham and Berlin.

Teikyo University USP

The University has initiated tie-ups with the private sector to allow students to do internships and gain hands-on experience in the local community. The University also has multiple collaboration programs that prove beneficial to the students as well as the community.
