Tokyo University of Agriculture History

The Tokyo University of Agriculture is a private agricultural university in Japan. It was Japan's first such institution. It is the only private university specializing in agriculture in Japan since 2006. Offers a total of 26 English - language specialized courses. This provides an opportunity for Japanese and international students at Tokyo University of Agriculture to learn about food, agriculture, and the environment in Japan and Asia, as well as visiting students from global partner universities.

Tokyo University of Agriculture  Programs, Courses, and Schools

Students can choose to study bioproduction, applied biological science, environmental and natural resource science, veterinary medicine, or ecoregional science within the Faculty of Agriculture. Students in engineering may study mechanical systems engineering, applied physics, biotechnology and life sciences, chemistry, applied chemistry, the chemistry of organic and polymer materials, electrical and electronic engineering, or computer and information sciences.

Tokyo University of Agriculture Campuses

The campus of Tokyo in Setagaya - Ku: Faculty of Applied Biology, Faculty of Regional Environmental Science, Faculty of International Agriculture and Food Studies. Atsugi campus in Kanagawa: Faculty of Agriculture. Okhotsk campus in Hokkaido:  Faculty of Bio-industry. Moreover, two graduate school programs are offered by the university: one in agriculture and one in bioindustry.
