UDLAP, The students of UDLAP Isauro Ali was nominated at the 2017 Global Art Award. UDLAP graduate wins international film recognition. UDLAP student Luis Manuel Ramirez among 5 Mexicans recognized by the 2016 for Adobe Design Achievement Award.
UDLAP's research work is reflected in scientific publications. Between 2009 and 2011 there have been 364 works created. There are 330 publications,that embody media articles, refereed articles, conference papers, book chapters and theses.

UDLAP, in annual study bestowed by the Mexican newspaper El Universal, the UDLAP was given the best grade of the colleges within the Metropolitan space of Puebla de Zaragoza, on top of universities such as UPAEP, BUAP or the Ibero Puebla. It is also the fourth-best private university within the country, and therefore the ninth overall. The same study also reportable that employers placed the university in second place, solely when Mexico's National University, the UNAM, which within the teacher's research, the Puebla de Zaragoza University was placed in third place, once the UNAM and also the ITAM. The University has always been committed to its motto of “Love for wisdom will make us greater”.
