University of Eastern Piedmont History

The University of Eastern Piedmont also known as the university of Eastern Piedmont Amedeo Avogadro, UNIPMN, and UPO is an Italian university located in Vercelli. The university was founded in 1998 after seven faculties from the university of Turin collectively formed the new institution.

University of Eastern Piedmont Programs, Courses, and Schools

The University of Eastern Piedmont comprises of seven faculties offering a wide range of programs at bachelors, masters, and doctoral levels. Some of the subjects on offer are Economics, Letters, Philosophy, Law, Maths, Physics, Natural Sciences, Surgery, Medicine, Pharmacy, and Political Sciences.

University of Eastern Piedmont’s Research Centre in Disaster and Emergency Medicine have also known as CRIMEDIM caters to researchers and academic communities specific to the subject. 

University of Eastern Piedmont Campuses

The University of Eastern Piedmont has three campuses located in the towns of Vercelli, Alessandria, and Novara in Italy located very close to the cities of Turin and Milan. The university campus consists of many historical buildings whereas many renovations have taken place over the period of time.

The University of Eastern Piedmont offers all the basic amenities to its students such as classrooms, lecture halls, laboratories, and libraries in addition to services such as student clubs, unions, sports teams, accommodation, and a wide range of leisure facilities.

The University of Eastern Piedmont is also ranked 405th in the world for Citations and 706th for Quality of Publications by the Center of World University Rankings (CWUR). The agency also puts the university 674th worldwide for its influence in academics.

University of Eastern Piedmont USP

The University of Eastern Piedmont is one of the few universities in the country to promote academia-industry collaboration and works with students to develop entrepreneurial skills and career development. The University of Eastern Piedmont is not a very selective institution and has a high acceptance rate.

The university also offers a lower cost of living and tuition fees as compared to neighboring cities of Turin and Milan. The tuition fee is free of cost for local students.
