University of Guadalajara History                                       

University of Guadalajara colloquially known as Universidad de Guadalajara is a Mexican higher education establishment located in Guadalajara. The university was founded as Royal University of Guadalajara in 1792 and adopted its present name in 1925. The university is second oldest in the country and enrols over 255000 students.
