The University of Jaén was established in 1993 and is a public institution based in Andalusia, Spain. Its history goes back to the fourteenth century. Established at Campus Las Lagunillas in 1993, the Universidad de Jaén has over 30 departments related to nearly every field of knowledge at the university: business administration, anthropology, geography, history, chemistry, etc. With over 480,000 digital publications, the university has a library. Its main campus is centred in Jaen. Its two other satellite campuses are in the smaller towns of Linares and Ubeda, a jewel of the Renaissance.
