University of Trento History

The University of Trento is an Italian university situated in Trento. It was established on1962 as a Higher University Institute for Social Sciences. The Universities impact on the city was quite contradictory as it was seen as a motivating force for cultural openness and the creation of a new leading class, but also as a fracturing element of protest.

University of Trento Programs, Courses, and Schools

The University of Trento provides 7 faculties, 51 programmes, numerous professional Master's, and lifelong learning courses. There are 2 higher education schools, 14 research departments, and 20 doctoral schools.

 University of Trento Campuses

The University of Trento is located in three areas that are in the center of Trento where there are Departments of Sociology and Social Research, Economics and Management, and Humanities, the Faculty of Law and the School of International Studies, all are very close to each other. On the hill, there are the Departments of Physics, Mathematics, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Engineering, and Computer Science and Department of Cellular, Computational and Integrative Biology. In Rovereto, Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science are there which was established in 2004.

University of Trento Achievements and USP

University of Trento scholarships is granted according to the points achieved in the final ranking lists. Top scored non-European students will be entitled to receive one of UniTrento scholarships for the yearly amount of 5.200 Euros in this scholarship even the tuition fees are waived.
