Mutah University History

Mutah University was established in the year 1981. It is a public and military university which is situated in Mutah in Jordan. It was started after the issuance of the Royal Decree. Its main focus is to provide higher education to military people and civilians. It is a national institution.

Mutah University Programs, Courses and Schools

Mutah University is the home to 15 colleges including a graduate college offering education in more than 100 academic programs. It offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs. Students can also opt for research, language programs, parallel studies program, diploma and evening programs.

It is the home to more than 17,000 students with highly skilled and experienced faculties. It is a highly competitive university and focuses on its military education and is recognised for its academics and research programs and publications. It also provides deanship and e-learning offers.

Mutah University has a wide spread campus with modern infrastructure and is planted with a lot of trees. Students are provided with the amenities like cafeteria, academic buildings, study centres, healthcare centre, athletic grounds, pool, fitness centre, innovation labs, halls and auditorium. Students can become the part of student clubs and organisations. Student media has magazines, three journals and a radio station. Scientific and other events and activities are organised throughout the year.

University library is piled up with books, magazines, periodicals, archives, publications, articles and journals. Each department has its own section of library. Training rooms, databases, computer systems, internet service, sitting areas and e-resources are accessible.
