Shiraz University of Technology, is the second public university located in Fras, Iran. It was established in the year 1968 by the former name of Electronics Industry College which was one of the Shiraz University branches. Later 2004, was renamed as Shiraz University Technology as a liberated university. It is the higher technological education in research.

Shiraz University of Technology, offers 5 bachelor’s degree programs, 31 master’s programs and 14 Ph.D programs. It also offers 12 faculties and 10 departments. The University has more than 103 academic staff including 550 undergraduate students and 1150 postgraduate students.

The University Of Shiraz University Of Technology collaborated with Al-Furat-Al-Awsat Technical University in Kufa signed the agreement to strengthen the scientific cooperation.
