University of Balamand is one of the esteemed private university located in El-Koura district of Lebanon. The University was established in the year 1988. The university was initially started as a small institute by an engineer patriarchy. The University is known for its programs in the field of Lebanese Fine Arts.

University of Balamand Programs, Courses and Schools

University of Balamand comprises of many Colleges and several Schools and 12 Faculties. The University offers Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degrees in the disciplines of Enterprise Management, Engineering, Theology, English, Liberal Arts, Philosophy, Computer Science, Education, History, Arts, Business Management, Law and many more. It offers many programs in French and Arabic too.
The University has many global affiliations and focussed on cultural exchanges between Lebanon and the Arab world.  The University is accredited by the ACQUIN, Germany.

University of Balamand Campuses

University of Balamand owes five beautiful campuses all across Lebanon. All the campuses are lush and green and presents state of art infrastructure. The Campus has a Monastery, a Gymnasium, Cultural Centre, Language Centre, Performing Arts Theatre, Sports Activity Room, Soccer and Rugby courts, Swimming pool, a Student Club. The library of the University is very big and computerized and well equipped with latest version of books, e-books, journals and documents.

University of Balamand has an acceptance rate of 40%-50%. It follows a selective admission procedure. The University offers tuition fees ranging from 10,000 USD to 12500 USD to international candidates.  The University also provides grants and scholarships Scholarships to the deserving students every year.
