University of Fukui History

University of Fukui was established in the year 1949. It is a public and national university which is situated in Fukui in Japan. It was formed after the merger of three colleges namely Fukui Normal School, Fukui Normal School for Youth and Fukui Technical College.

University of Fukui Programs, Courses and Schools  

University of Fukui is organised into four undergraduate and three graduate schools. Apart from these, there are also research centres and university hospital associated with it. It offers undergraduate, master’s and doctoral program. Education is provided in various disciplines of study.

Faculties of the university are expert in their field of study. Students can also opt for student exchange programs, research programs and language trainings. Liberal Arts and Engineering were the first faculties started in the university.

University of Fukui Campuses

University of Fukui has three campuses, each having different academic faculties and having sustainable campus. Facilities offered to the students include wellness centre, cafeteria, swimming pool, athletic courts, gym, recreational area, halls, auditorium, theatre and student service centre. There are various student clubs and organisations and students can participate in extra-curricular and intramural activities organised in the university.

University library is stocked with books, study material, journals, research guides, publications and periodicals. Databases, audio-visuals, cubicles, study rooms, printing access and lecture halls are accessible for students and faculties.

University of Fukui Achievements and USP

University of Fukui is a renowned university of Japan. Centre for World University Ranking has ranked it among the top 1000 universities of the world and among top 100 universities of the country. It is an internationally acclaimed university with its recognised name in research and patents. The Times Higher Education has ranked it among top 500 universities of Asia.
